Customer Information​

All customer information gathered on this website is for this websites' use only.

​Shipping

​

Our farm currently is not shipping any orders (subject to change in the future). All orders are local pick up in the Bridge Creek, Oklahoma area. My primary job is in south Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and pick up can occur at my place of work if coordinated and weather permits.

Orders

​

All orders are to be made via this website. In the instance that the customer is having issues, orders can be placed via email at admin@dunbarsfeatheredfarm.com. All orders will be filled in the order that they are received. All orders will be received through the website.

• If the item that you have selected is in-stock, then once you have paid, we will reach out to you to coordinate for the order to be picked up. 

• If you have selected to "Pre-Order", once orders paid, you will automatically be placed on the Waitlist. Once we are approximately one week from being able to fill your order, we will reach out to arrange for pick up.

• If a product is "Out of Stock" then this means that it is sold out and not available for "Pre-Order".

• All products that are in the "Out of Stock" or "Pre-Order" state are subject to change if all "Pre-Order" orders are filled or product becomes available for any reason.

No returns are permitted. Our farm has a very strict biosecurity standard in place and once a live animal leaves the premises it cannot be returned.

Gender Sexing

​

I am a part time farmer, not a hatchery full time vent checker. I cannot gender sex any bird until they are showing visible features of gender. We do not offer auto sexing breeds, so there for all chicks are sold as straight run. Straight run means the chick could grow up to crow or lay eggs, it's a 50/50 chance. So before purchasing Day-Old Straight Run chicks, please understand that there is a possibility that you could end up with all hens or all roosters. Juvenile pullets are sold as a young hen, pre-laying age. In the event that you purchase a pullet and they end up a rooster (although rare, nothing is 100%), please reach out with picture or video evidence and we will work towards a solution.

Our farm is not happy if our customers are not happy. We are very proud of our products, and we stand behind what we sell. We strive to provide very healthy and happy birds and hope that every one of them grow up and continue to be healthy and happy as adult birds. However, that is not always reality, things happen, some within our control and some out of our control. There are so many factors that is out of our farms control that could lead to a bird perishing. For Day-Old chicks, if this happens within 24 hours of picking the birds up, please reach out and we will work with you on a solution.  Please see Day-Old Chick Care instruction.  

 

All Other Poultry Purchased

 

All juvenile and adult birds are proven to be healthy prior to selling and we are unable to offer any guarantees on these birds.

Hatching Eggs

 

All hatching eggs will be collected within 7 days prior to pick up. There is no fertility or gender guarantee on hatching eggs. There are too many variables that go into turning a hatching egg into a chick that are out of our farms control and for that we cannot guarantee them. Please do your research on hatching eggs prior to purchasing hatching eggs. Hatching eggs are viable for 2 weeks after being laid and all of our eggs will be dated with the date collected. ​​​​
